Full Description
Title: Glock weapons systems, spare parts and accessories
Description: In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (FAR) 5.101(a), "For proposed contract actions expected to be greater than $20,000, post a pre-solicitation notice to the GPE unless an exemption in paragraph (b) applies."
ACC-NJ, on behalf of Portfolio Acquisition Executive Maneuver Ground, Capability Program Executive Ground, Project Manager Soldier Lethality, Product Director Crew Served Weapons (PdD CSW), intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract to Glock, Inc., pursuant to the authority 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) §3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1(c)(2)(ii), Unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements.
The scope of the requirement is to procure non-standard weapons/commercially available GLOCK weapon systems to include GLOCK Model 17 (G17), GLOCK Model 19 (G19), GLOCK Model 19X (G19X), GLOCK Model 26 (G26), GLOCK Model G43X (G43X), GLOCK Model 17T (G17T), and GLOCK Model 19T (G19T) including Gen3, Gen4, Gen5, Gen6 generations for the G17 and G19 models, Gen3, Gen4, and Gen5 for the G26 model, magazines, spare parts, individual accessories, and training.
The requirement will be satisfied through a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract (five (5) - one (1) year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract (five (5) -one (1) year ordering periods). The maximum contract value is $40.5M.
The Solicitation release is anticipated to be on or around 15 days from the date of this notice. Please note this notice DOES NOT constitute a Request for Proposal. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
