Fort Cronkhite, in the Marin Headlands unit of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, supports 34 buildings. These buildings include, but are not limited to, park offices, partner buildings, housing, and visitor restrooms. The water line and laterals serving these buildings suffers from severe corrosion. This has caused multiple major water line breaks that have cut water off to the fort. This project will be the first phase of a phased replacement of the line.
