This is a presolicitation notice for the purchase of a Golan 45. The government intends to solicit this requirement sole source IAW RFO FAR 12.102(a). The required item is one Golan 45 ammunition storage unit, brand name MISTRAL INC. Quantity: One (1) unit. The proposed item shall meet or exceed the following requirements: Storage capacity of up to 100 pounds (45 kilograms) of TNT, IDS door, High-security hasp, Internal lighting assembly, Engineered with the industry shortest approved safety distance, allowing containment within 6 feet of inhabited buildings, Provides total mitigation of shock waves, blast over pressure, and fragmentation in the event of an accidental detonation. The proposed item shall be approved and certified by DDESB.This requirement is being solicited sole source due to only one seller being available for the Golan 45 and no other items meeting the requirement. A sources sought notice was posted and no replies were received.
