Golden Bright

The Department of Cannabis Control has approved a medium outdoor commercial cannabis license for the Golden Bright project, located at 11844 Armstrong Rd, Sheep Ranch, CA 95246. Pursuant to Business and Profession Code, Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, the project consists of a cultivation area encompassing 43,560 square feet of total canopy. The cultivation site is situated in the north-western portion of the parcel within a pre-existing fallow agricultural field clearing that was previously used as a grazing pasture for livestock. A Notice of Exemption has been filed for the project under CEQA Guidelines Section 15183, citing consistency with local zoning and prior Environmental Impact Report certification by Calaveras County. The project is managed by the Department of Cannabis Control Environmental Evaluation Office, with Victoria Alison serving as the Environmental Scientist and point of contact. All final environmental documents and project approval records are maintained publicly at the Department of Cannabis Control Environmental Evaluation Office.
