Goodlet Park Theater Center AV and Seating Modernization

The City of Hialeah is soliciting proposals for a turnkey modernization of the Goodlet Park Theater Center through an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract. The project scope encompasses the engineering, design, procurement, and installation of professional-grade audio-visual systems, including acoustic treatments, a digital mixing console with remote tablet control, and live streaming capabilities. Additionally, the vendor must upgrade theater lighting with LED wash and spot fixtures, install a projection and camera system with a minimum of 12k lumens, and replace 226 commercial-grade theater seats while maintaining ADA accessibility. The contractor is responsible for all permits and must ensure compliance with Miami-Dade County, City of Hialeah, and Florida Building Codes. Qualified vendors must be OEM-authorized resellers with at least five consecutive years of experience in similar commercial theater integrations. The evaluation process is based on technical design, pricing competitiveness, firm experience, and the ability to provide ongoing support, including a minimum of two preventive maintenance visits per year and a 24-hour on-site emergency response window. The project must be substantially completed within 90 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed, with a total contract duration not to exceed five years. Bid bonds are required for bids over 100,000 dollars, and performance and payment bonds are mandatory for contracts exceeding 200,000 dollars.
