Government Shutdown

The purpose of this amendment is to extend the Solicitation due date to 10/15/2016 at 4:00 pm eastern standard time. This amendment also incorporates the updated schedule for elevator inspections as well as the updated SF1449 which incorporates a line item for follow-up inspections. In addition, this procurement is subject to the Limitation of Government's Obligation clause per GSA PIB 13-05, dated 26 August 2013. In accordance with the Limitation of Government's Obligation clause the following will apply: - GSA is required to fully fund contracts at the time of award. Due to budget uncertainties, GSA is unable to fully fund an entire year's worth of service at this time. As a result GSA PIB 13-05 Class Deviation..., dated 26 August 2013, GSA authorizes implementation of incremental funding on fixed price building recurring contracts. Rather than reduce or eliminate these critical services in their entirety, GSA will award a contract for one year (or other time period specified in the action, not greater than one year) and funding the contract on a monthly basis. - Be advised because these are critical building services, it is highly unlikely that funding will not be provided. Should there be any change in our requirements (i.e. reduced square footage, etc), GSA will bilaterally modify the contract and adjust the funding schedule.
