The IRS Office of Information Technology Acquisitions (OITA) negotiated a sole source contract for brand name specific One Stop Systems (OSS) software and hardware with One Stop Systems, 3320 Noble Pond Way, Suite 206, Woodbridge, VA 20112. IRS Criminal Investigation's Electronic Crimes (ECrimes) section operates a large password cracking cluster. The below type of hardware and software utilizes GPU video cards to provide "horsepower" to the system to enable it to try more password combinations in a given amount of time.
