The Greater St. Albert Roman Catholic Separate School Division is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive Classroom Audio Enhancement System designed to elevate speech intelligibility and audio clarity in instructional environments up to 300 m² in size. The system must deliver even, consistent sound distribution with minimal dead zones, specifically optimized for educational speech within a 200 Hz to 7.5 kHz bandwidth to reduce teacher vocal strain and improve student comprehension. It must include a multi-speaker array with integrated distributed loudspeaker technology, a minimum 80-watt amplifier output, and controlled dispersion tailored to classroom acoustics. Wireless microphone functionality is required to operate seamlessly within the 2.4 GHz spectrum using license-free technology with adaptive frequency hopping to ensure reliable performance in high-density wireless school environments, with a minimum range of 25 meters and support for multiple simultaneous systems within the same facility. The solution must also feature integrated Bluetooth 4.2 or newer capability along with auxiliary audio inputs and outputs including at least a 3.5 mm connection, enabling multimedia playback with a full audio bandwidth of 100 Hz to 20 kHz. Independent volume controls for voice and multimedia audio must be readily accessible to classroom staff to allow flexible use during lessons. The system must be fully installed, configured, and supported through ongoing service, ensuring long-term functionality and ease of use in daily teaching activities. Proposals are due by May 21, 2026, and inquiries should be directed to Jason Greenland, the Contracting Authority at the division. This procurement is open to qualified vendors capable of meeting all technical, operational, and support requirements outlined in the solicitation.
