The Department of Cannabis Control has approved an annual Non-Storefront Retail (Type 9) cannabis license for GREENSPEED LLC to operate at 20500 W Nordhoff Street, Chatsworth, CA, within an existing 21,784 square foot building on a 47,142 square foot lot zoned for Light Manufacturing, MR2-1; P-1. The license converts a prior temporary approval and requires no physical expansion or modification to the existing structure, with operations scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The project is deemed consistent with local planning and zoning and qualifies for a Class 32 Categorical Exemption under the California Environmental Quality Act, confirming minimal environmental impact. Essential utilities including sewer, water, and electricity are provided by the City of Los Angeles and its departments. Compliance with Los Angeles Municipal Code Sections 104.00 and 105.00 and the Department of Cannabis Control’s regulations is mandatory, though this does not substitute for additional permits required from the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety, the Fire Department, or the County Public Health Department. The application was submitted on September 25, 2025, and was supported by a Project-Specific Information form and a ZIMAS parcel profile report. No contract value, pricing, or financial terms are specified, and no federal acquisition regulations apply as this is a state-level cannabis licensing action. The licensing authority’s primary point of contact is Calvin Yee, Environmental Scientist, reachable via phone and email. All submissions must include Exhibit A and Exhibit B and be directed to designated state mailing addresses, with no electronic portal or deadline specified.
