The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Tucson, Arizona, intends to issue a firm fixed price, sole source purchase order to JWC Environmental, LLC, for a new grinder model: 30005-0024-DI, for the Muffin Monster Model 30000. This non-competitive action is being issued by the Federal Correctional Complex, Tucson, Arizona. The NAICS code is 333318. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, as no solicitation document is available. However any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give a written or fax notification to the Contracting Officer within five (5) calendar days from the date of this published notice. This is sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, FCC Tucson will proceed with the sole source award to JWC Environmental, LLC. The Government anticipates an award date on or about May 20, 2013.
