This contract involves the procurement of five units of a GUIDE, ELEMENT, EXIT component for an E/I 20MM gun system, identified by NSN 1005-01-228-5424. The solicitation, issued by the Department of Defense's Land Supply Chain division, specifies a delivery timeline of 197 days after order receipt at the place of performance in Everett, WA. The contracting process mandates compliance with several technical and quality requirements outlined in the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) master list, with applicable revision dates governed by solicitation or award dates depending on acquisition size. The contract also integrates cybersecurity standards, requiring involvement of a CMMC Level 2 Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization. Key compliance factors include adherence to demilitarization protocols for small arms and related components, strict packaging requirements, and removal of government identification from non-accepted items. Additionally, contractors must retain supply chain traceability documentation and observe export control regulations under ITAR and EAR, limiting technical data access to authorized entities with relevant certifications and training. The solicitation provides detailed procedures for handling export-controlled information, emphasizing restrictions on foreign nationals and subsidiaries. The primary contact for this acquisition is Deborah Ferrin from the DLA, with the response deadline set shortly after the posting date in mid-2026.
