Guide Rail and Guide Post Installation and Removal Service

The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is seeking quotations for the provision of Guide Rail and Guide Post Installation and Removal Services. Service Regions are as follows: Region 1: Avalon – White Hills Region 2: Eastern – Clarenville Region 3: Central – Grand Falls – Windsor Region 4A: Western – Deer Lake Region 4B: Western – Plum Point The Regions are designated using the following boundaries: Avalon Region: All points east of the Intersection of Route 100 with the TCH Eastern Region: All points between the Intersection of Route 100 with the TCH and the Intersection to the Town of Benton on the TCH (not including Bonavista North) Central Region: All points between the Intersection to the Town of Benton on the TCH and the Intersection of Route 410 on the TCH Western Region 4A: All points west of the intersection of Route 410 on the TCH (excluding Route 430 – Great Northern Peninsula Highway) Western Region 4B: All points north of the Intersection of Route 430 with the TCH The Scope of work includes the following: The Department will supply all guide rail, guide rail posts, and wooden guide posts. All related hardware, anchors, equipment, etc. that is required for installation and removal shall be supplied by the Contracted Supplier. Bidding and Documents are available on http://www.merx.com.
