This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract. EPA Region 1 New England Regional Laboratory located at 11 Technology Drive, North Chelmsford, MA 01863-2431 intends to negotiate a sole source award to YSI Incorporated for the purchase of YSI Multi-Parameter Water Quality Instruments, Probes and Accessories. See Attachment 1, Equipment List for all items to be provided by YSI Incorporated. (Attachment 1 can only be found on FedConnect, https://www.fedconnect.net/) The Government intends to solicit, negotiate and award to only one contractor using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however all responses received by the closing of this notice will be considered by the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred for preparing a response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Contracting Officer is Patrice Denault Denault.Patrice@epa.gov .
