Bid #7300.01.CDR.01: This project is for a consultant to implement an existing Habitat Mitigation and Monitoring Plan (HMMP) for the Canyon Del Rey Segment of the Fort Ord Regional Trail and Greenway (FORTAG). The work is to compensate for unavoidable impacts to jurisdictional wetlands and waters. The scope includes wetland creation at Work Memorial Park (invasive species removal, wetland plantings) and riparian creation/enhancement at Work Memorial Park and Frog Pond Wetland Preserve (riparian plantings, soil stabilization). The consultant will oversee a five-year maintenance and monitoring period, including weeding, irrigation, replacement plantings, and submitting annual reports to regulatory agencies (USACE, CDFW, RWQCB). The work will be overseen by a Qualified Restoration Specialist and implemented by a licensed Restoration Contractor.
