The Carroll County Office of Procurement, in cooperation with the Resource Management Division, is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide the labor, material, equipment, and services necessary for the Hampstead Valley IV Stormwater Management Facility. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to complete the assigned tasks. Contractor shall be able to start project within thirty (30) working days after notification from Carroll County Resource Management Division. Should the contractor be unable to start the project within the designated time frame, the next lowest, responsive and responsible bidder will be awarded the project. All work performed under this contract must be accomplished in an expedient and timely manner and within a specified timeframe. Weather permitting, we anticipate this project taking approximately 120 working days to complete from the start date. A bidder understands that by providing a bid for this project, all resources of the vendors will be used to ensure deadlines are met. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Carroll County Department of Public Works prior to bid opening. The bidder must be approved for the type of work applicable to the project. The pre-qualification application forms must be submitted to the Division of Engineering a minimum of ten (10) days in advance of the bid opening. Application forms are available for download from the Division of Engineering webpage.
