NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENTHandheld Barcode ScannersThe Department of National Defence (DND) requires the purchase of Handheld Barcode Scanners for use within its existing data centre infrastructure.The initial requirement is for twenty (20) Handheld Barcode Scanners, with the option to purchase an additional ten (10) Handheld Barcode Scanners available for a period up to and including 30 September 2024.The initial and optional deliverables are estimated as follows: Initial DeliverablesItem Description Quantity 1. Handheld Barcode Scanners 10Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.Nature of Requirement: The Department of National Defence (DND) has implemented a Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) system for the management of its data centres.The infrastructure requires Handheld Barcode Scanners to assist with this functionality.requirement in its entirety, is detailed within the RFP at Annex “A” Requirement.Delivery Date: 30 Nov 2022Competitive Procurement Strategy: A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive.
