AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Navy, through the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division at Joint Base MDL, New Jersey, plans to acquire a single Handheld Network Analyzer, part number FSH8, model .28, with SKU 1309.6000.28, capable of measuring frequencies from 100 kHz to 8 GHz and equipped with a preamplifier, tracking generator, and VSWR functionality. This instrument is specifically required for the P-8A Poseidon Program in support of operations at Point Mugu. The classification code for this item is 6625, and it falls under NAICS code 334515, reflecting its use in specialized diagnostic testing systems. This notice is not a request for proposals, and no contract will be awarded based on responses received. However, any responsible source may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation by the deadline of July 9, 2026, to demonstrate that competition could provide a clear and convincing advantage to the government. All inquiries must be directed to Contract Specialist Alexis Kelly at alexis.r.kelly.civ@us.navy.mil. The government retains full discretion to decide whether to proceed with sole-source acquisition regardless of any submissions received. The solicitation number is N6833526Q1163, and the instrument is intended for critical aerospace diagnostic applications within the Navy's operational framework.
