Solicitation # 2026-RFQ-040
Lewis County is soliciting qualifications under solicitation 2026-RFQ-040 for a professional engineering firm to provide comprehensive design and engineering services for fire alarm systems. The project encompasses several County-owned facilities, including the IT Building, Historic Courthouse, Health Building, and Lewis County Jail. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting on-site evaluations to determine the remaining useful life of existing systems, assessing code compliance with NFPA 72, IBC, and IFC standards, and developing bid-ready construction drawings and technical specifications. Applicants must provide a statement of qualifications, three public agency references from the last five years, and resumes of key personnel.
