**This solicitation will be issued on FBO.gov on or about two weeks from this date.** The purpose of this synopsis is to notify interested parties the DLA Disposition Contracting Directorate anticipates issuing a solicitation for Hazardous Waste Removal and Disposal for Department of Defense (DOD) installations and sites in Puerto Rico and surrounding areas. This acquisition is being solicited as an unrestricted solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 562211 and the size standard is $38,500,000.00. The anticipated performance start date for this Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is 15 October 2019 for a 30-month base period, followed by one 30-month option period, for a possible 5-year contract.
