Description of Work:The Health Products and Food Branch (HPFB) aims to better inform Canadians to help them make healthy choices by modernizing business efficiency, and coordinating Information Technology (IT) systems with departmental strategies. Web technologies is central to almost every aspect of Health Canada business, as it enables and supports a more efficient delivery of programs. HPFB plans to continue investing in various IT projects to support the development and implementation of initiatives and projects. Health Canada has been faced with increasing challenges to health products regulation; as such, HPFB must ensure IT projects’ compliance with web content accessibility guidelines and Health Canada commitments. In pursuit of modernizing business efficiency and integrating IT systems with departmental strategies, HPFB will invest in various projects that focus on innovative web application development, and post-implementation assessments. System Auditors and Web Designers will be required over a period of three (3) years during to support HPFB projects by delivering analysis and development service on an agile basisAs such, Health Canada has a requirement up to two (2) System Auditors and up to four (4) Web Designers to support web content accessibility projects across the HPFB on an as and when required basis. Task Authorizations (TA) will be issued against the Service Outline Agreement to support the various Health Canada initiatives.Security Requirement: Common PS SRCL #6 appliesMinimum Corporate Security Required: Designated Organization Screening (DOS)Minimum Resource Security Required: Reliability
