HEAT SEALING SYSYTEM

The procurement is for a Hethermatron 15KW RF Heat Sealing System, identified by part number F15-25 and manufactured by Thermatron, under a sole-source arrangement, with a requirement for two units to be delivered by June 26, 2026, to the Naval Shipyard Puget Sound Detachment in San Diego, California. The contract is a firm fixed price, designated as a 100 percent Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set Aside under NAICS code 333248, and is administered by DLA Maritime – Puget Sound with the award notice posted on July 6, 2026. Delivery is FOB Destination, and the contractor must provide crating, on-site commissioning, and NRTL certification as part of the supply. All items must comply with ASTM-D-3951 for packaging and marking, prohibiting asbestos, excelsior, loose fill polystyrene, newspaper, and shredded paper; non-manufactured wood must be heat-treated to 56°C for 30 minutes and certified by an ALSC-recognized agency.
