Henry W. Coe State Park – Mt. Stakes Ranch Acquisition

The purpose of this project is to acquire a total of approximately 3,855.8 acres of land (APNs listed below) from The Nature Conservancy to add to Henry W. Coe State Park to expand existing park lands, preserve natural resources, and provide a buffer between the park and adjacent lands. The parcels are located within Santa Clara and Stanislaus Counties, in portions of Sections 13, 14, 15, 16, 22, 23 & 24, Township 7 South, Range 5 East, M.D.M. The acquisition will also serve to protect public access, conserve wildlife habitat, and maintain the land in its natural condition.
