AI Contract Overview
The 189th Air Lift Wing at Little Rock Air Force Base is seeking a turnkey high-density mechanical-assist mobile shelving system under a combined synopsis/solicitation designated as W50S6P26Q0001, issued as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 337215, with a size standard of 500 employees. The requirement calls for the procurement, delivery, and installation of a modern shelving system designed to maximize storage capacity within a 19.5 ft by 48 ft footprint, incorporating ADA-compliant dual-sided ramps, full-length passive mechanical safety sweeps, overhead LED lighting at 5000K color temperature, and specific back-to-back shelving configurations. The solution must comply with all technical, safety, and accessibility standards detailed in the amended Statement of Objectives, and the system must be installed as a complete system including carriages, rails, decking, and associated accessories. The Government will handle the dismantling and disposal of the existing shelving system, eliminating that requirement from the contractor’s scope, and the CLIN structure has been revised accordingly to reflect three distinct line items: equipment provision, installation labor, and freight delivery, each to be quoted as a single lot for a turnkey solution. All proposals must be submitted via email by 5:00 PM CDT on July 2, 2026, with questions due by June 17, 2026, and quotes must remain valid for at least 90 days after submission. Award will be made to the lowest-priced responsible offeror whose proposal fully meets all mandatory requirements specified in the solicitation and the updated SOO, with no weighting applied beyond compliance as a pass/fail gate—making this a lowest price technically acceptable procurement. The system must conform to MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-130 for packaging, marking, and unique item identification, including enterprise identifier, serial number, and original part number data elements, verified through automated identification technology. The contractor must operate under the terms of FAR and DFARS clauses including 52.203-6, 52.203-13, 52.212-4, 52.219-6, and 52.222-41, among others, and must comply with cybersecurity standards under NIST SP 800-17
