The purpose of this contract is to support DHS, United States Coast Guard (USCG), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence Service Center through the provision of High Frequency Radio System (HFRS) hardware (including transceivers, receivers, remote control units, amplifiers, antenna tuning units and antenna couplers). The HFRS is a commercial long-haul high-frequency radio voice and data communications system and allows deployed cutters to communicate with other ships, aircraft and shore stations over short and long distances, in support of port safety/security, search and rescue, law enforcement and other official operations.
