It is anticipated that this acquisition will be restricted to United Technology Corporation (UTC) acquired the Goodrich Corporation and created the new UTC Aerospace Systems Company, doing business as The Goodrich Corporation, Cleveland,OH.This requirement is to procure Apache High Performance Shock Struts (HPSS) Part Number 1168100-509 in order to support AH-64 Aircraft Production.The contractor will be required to provide HPSS support to the Apache Attack Helicopter (AAH) Program Management Office (PMO) for the Apache Helicopter.This effort will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a base period of performance of twelve (12) months with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for a total contract period of sixty (60) months.This is a follow-on requirement which the Government anticipates will be solicited and negotiated with only one source under the authority of Federal Aquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1.
