PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE


This notice is not a request for quotes. The Marine Corps Installations East (MCIEAST) has a requirement for a high-security, multipurpose, high-volume shredder. Minimum requirements are but are not limited to a 13x9 inch throat width, 100-gallon waste bag capacity, an integrated vacuum system, and noise level rated at or below 85dB(A).


It is the Government’s intention to issue a single firm fixed price contract. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 339940. The NAICS Industry Description is Religious Organizations. The Government will solicit and award this contract in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services.


The Solicitation will be posted on or about fifteen (15) days after this posting and made available on the Contract Opportunities portal located at https://www.sam.gov/ . If you are an interested party, please inform the procuring agency of your interest in the upcoming solicitation. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor the website for solicitation and any associated amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov/ . Contractors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current within the SAM website and possess a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code).
