The award was made as a firm-fixed-price purchase order for the procurement of new Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) equipment to upgrade and repair the existing HAR system currently in use at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. This acquisition was conducted under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Specifically, FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) permits solicitation from a single source when the contracting officer determines that only one source is reasonably available. For any questions regarding this J&A posting, please contact SSgt Alexander Kouba at alexander.kouba@us.af.mil.
