NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT
Amendment 001: This amendment is raised to modify the RFP
The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement the requirements for the construction of two parallel concrete tracks extending 120 feet in length in Cartwright Long Range Radar site (LAB-6) Newfoundland and Labrador.
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at Cartwright LAB-6 on 18 June 2025. The site visit will begin at 0900 Cartwright LAB-6.
Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 14 June 2025 by 1400 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.
Conduct site inspection and survey to verify alignment and elevation.
Compact and grade the designated area to ensure a stable and level base.
Excavate as needed to accommodate the foundation and sub-base layers.
Ensure a seamless transition with a 0% grade between the inside of the building and the landing strip, preventing any elevation changes, bumps, or slopes.
Building, Site or Construction Permits or licensing required in advance for site preparation.
The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

Debriefings
Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process.
