Notice of Intent for Award: 377 MSG/PK at Kirtland AFB, NM intends to award a sole source requirement to Hitachi High Technologies America. Inc. for the purchase of Hitachi Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) Preventative Maintenance services. Hitachi High Technologies America. Inc. is the sole manufacturer of the Hitachi Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) for development, manufacture and supportability. Hitachi High Technology America, Inc. is the sole source for factory authorized service support of the Hitachi SEM. Hitachi can provide the required knowledge of their systems, the proper way to inspect, repair and maintain the SEM, as well as calibrating their hardware/software to provide the customer with precise data that is required for current and future mission. Vendors may identify their interest and capability in response to this requirement within five (5) days of this announcement. Responses are due no later than 12:00 PM (MST) on 08 March 2019.
