Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS), on behalf of Military Sealift Command (MSC) intends to solicit for direct
replacement of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) HOBART SERVICE, Hobart Conveyor Dishwasher.
This requirement is being solicited as a brand name for OEM HOBART SERVICE due to MSC directed to only use
OEM parts on this vessel’s operational and mission critical equipment aboard MSC Fleet Vessels per COMSCINST
4490.1. The Critical Safety Item (CSI) that the subject items fall under is for the Mission Equipment. Interested companies may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, which will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
The Government will evaluate the offeror’s price for reasonableness and past performance as part of the
responsibility determination in accordance with RFO 12.203.
