Hollingsworth Communication Site License Agreement with City of Murrieta

The County of Riverside, through its Facilities Management department, is establishing a five-year License Agreement with the City of Murrieta for the use of communication tower space at the Hollingsworth Communication Site. Located in Murrieta, California, and identified by Assessor's Parcel Number 392-090-021, the site is operated for the benefit of Public Safety Enterprise Communications. The agreement allows the City of Murrieta to utilize existing tower space for its communication needs provided that such use does not interfere with other tenants, including PSEC. Under the California Environmental Quality Act, the project is classified as the letting of property involving existing facilities with no substantial expansion or increase in use. Consequently, it is categorically exempt from CEQA under State Guidelines Section 15301 for Existing Facilities and Section 15061(b)(3) for Common Sense Exemptions.
