Dallas Area Rapid Transit is soliciting bids for the procurement of Hose Assembly, Air Motor Truck Bolster Small (Solicitation 2095917). The scope of work requires the delivery of supplies that strictly adhere to the provided drawings, specifications, and manufacturer part numbers. All deliverables must be of merchantable quality and suitable for their intended use, with final inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination in Texas. The procurement is governed by custom purchase order terms and conditions rather than standard FAR clauses. Key requirements include FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the total price and a Net 30 payment schedule. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to a designated email address and must exclude Texas sales and use taxes. Notably, the contract includes a mandatory anti-boycott certification regarding Israel and emphasizes that timely delivery is essential, as failure to meet specified rates may result in rejection or termination for default. Interested vendors must submit their responses electronically via the Bonfire portal by October 23, 2025. Submissions are managed through an in-browser BidTable system. The contract allows for termination for convenience or default, and the seller is responsible for all inspections necessary to demonstrate conformity before the Authority's final acceptance.

Full Description
PURCHASE ORDER TERMS AND CONDITIONS -- All purchase orders are subject to Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority's Terms and Conditions. The complete PO Terms and Conditions PDF is available for download in the "Supporting Documentation" section below. Freight Terms Notice - Please ensure that all bids/quotes reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with the freight cost included in the overall price. DART does not typically accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. Delivery Terms Notice - Time and rate of deliveries are of the essence of this order. Seller's failure to deliver at the time and rate specified shall be the basis for rejection and default termination by the Authority (Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority). Payment Terms Notice - All vendors are advised that DART's payment terms are Net 30. Invoices shall be submitted (contact@example.gov) in triplicate (one copy shall be marked 'Original"), unless otherwise specified, and shall contain the following information: purchase order number; item number; purchase order description of supplies, services, or construction; sizes; quantities; unit prices; and extended totals. Unless otherwise specified, payment will be made on partial deliveries accepted by the Authority when the amount due on such deliveries so warrants. Invoices will be paid 30 days from receipt of the invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later, unless other payment terms have been agreed upon in writing. Termination for Default Notice - The Contracting Officer may by written notice terminate this order, in whole or in part, for failure of the Seller to perform any of the provisions hereof within the time periods specified. In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12. As used in this provision, the term "subcontractor" and "subcontractors" means subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers at any level.
