DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – RESIDENTIAL PORTFOLIO CAPITAL INVESTMENT PLAN
This is not a bid solicitation.
In the context of the Government of Canada’s ongoing investments to modernize and expand residential housing for the Canadian Armed Forces, Defence Construction Canada (DCC), in collaboration with the Canadian Forces Housing Agency (CFHA), is hosting a virtual industry information session focused on Phase 2 of the Residential Portfolio Capital Investment Plan (RPCIP).
This session will provide industry with an overview of the scope of work to advance new residential housing projects at Canadian Armed Forces bases and wings across the country, as well as insight into the planned procurement and delivery approach for the program.
The session aims to
Provide an overview of the scale, duration, and geographic distribution of housing construction projects under RPCIP Phase 2, including phased implementation across multiple regions;
Present the procurement and delivery strategies planned under the program;
Discuss upcoming procurement opportunities and how industry can prepare to engage;
Highlight planned delivery approaches, including:
Modified Design-Build delivery;
Design-Bid-Build delivery in select locations;
Share how the program will support Canada’s commitment to:
Buying Canadian;
Indigenous business participation;
The use of modern methods of construction to support efficient and innovative project delivery.
