The contract requires supply of parts as well as other functions, including but not limited to, inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance and design control affecting these parts. The identified items have been identified as sole source; however, some items may have history showing awards to other than the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). It is the Government's intent to use a letter solicitation format to the sole source Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM); therefore, if any non-OEM source is interested in any of the NSNs, please notify the Contracting Officer prior to the synopsis closing date. Surplus dealers are also invited to respond to this synopsis. The response should include a completed surplus certificate, DLAD 52.211-9000, Government Surplus Material or adequate traceability documentation to show that the product is acceptable. In addition, respondents should identify the quantity available and price. A copy of the letter of interest should be forwarded to the contracting officer identified herein and SBA PCR (contact@example.gov). The Government may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the Government. Any non-OEM source that is interested in supplying any of the attached NSN's should notify Mr. James K. Simms at contact@example.gov, prior to the synopsis closing date. Alternate offers must submit a complete technical data package, along with a Source Approval Request (SAR). Responses to this announcement from other than the OEM should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items identified. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed items based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION: Responses to this synopsis must be readable by Microsoft Office or Adobe software. Response to this announcement shall be unclassified and not exceed 20 pages in length. Interested vendors, including large and various small business categories under NAICS code 336412, must submit their business information and a Source Approval Request (SAR) package via DoD SAFE by November 28, 2026. Qualification requires adherence to Manufacturing Qualification Requirements (MQR) and Engineering Data Lists (EDL), and vendors may be responsible for nonrecurring engineering costs to become an approved source.
