Housing Solicitor

The City of Pittsburgh, through the Commission on Human Relations, is seeking a qualified Housing Solicitor to serve as Special Legal Counsel focused on fair housing matters under solicitation number 2026-RFP-094, with responses due by June 17, 2026. The position requires the contractor to provide legal representation for complainants in post-cause housing discrimination proceedings, including mandatory conciliation, public hearings, and court processes, while also advising the Commission on fair housing issues, drafting policy and code amendments, and handling appeals and motions. The scope includes seeking injunctive relief when necessary and participating in Commission meetings to offer legal guidance.
