The contract establishes a brand-name justification and approval (J&A) for selecting specific HVAC chiller manufacturers to fulfill the United States Air Force’s requirements for HVAC chiller systems. This approval sets a limited group of manufacturers authorized to supply new chillers for Air Force facilities located both within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). The J&A supports multiple decentralized contracts, allowing various Contracting Officers to utilize this justification when issuing their own solicitations, which must comply with FAR 6.305(c). The document is intended solely for informational purposes and does not represent a solicitation or request for proposals. The contract is identified by solicitation number FA8003-19-R-8000 and falls under the NAICS code 333415, which pertains to HVAC equipment manufacturing. It does not specify any set-aside types or detailed performance locations. Contact for this contract is handled by Julian Kaelin, reachable via email or phone.
