AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE7M3-26-T-8772 is a fixed-price request for quotations issued by the Department of Defense, specifically the DLA Land and Maritime Fluid Handling Division, for the procurement of one hydraulic cap under NSN 4730-01-643-4014. The requirement is for a single unit to be delivered to Camp Pendleton, California, within 20 days after receipt of the order. The solicitation is open for responses until September 11, 2026, and may be eligible for automated award. The contract imposes strict technical and regulatory requirements, including compliance with the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements and the prohibition of Class I ozone-depleting chemicals. Because the item contains export-controlled technical data subject to ITAR or EAR, eligible offerors must possess an approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification and approval from the DLA controlling authority. Packaging must adhere to ASTM D3951 and MIL-STD-129, with specific labeling required for hazardous materials under the Hazard Communication Standard. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for electronic invoicing and receiving reports. The solicitation incorporates various FAR and DFARS clauses, including the Buy American Act and the Berry Amendment. Additionally, it highlights a price evaluation preference for certified HUBZone small business concerns and references Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Level 2 requirements. Inspection and acceptance will take place at the destination.
