JEFFERSON PATTERSON PARK AND MUSEUM TENT MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE (5 YEAR)
Solicitation # FM27-14
Solicitation FM27-14 is a five-year agreement for building maintenance and repair services at the Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum in Saint Leonard, Maryland. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and supervision necessary for the annual take down, cleaning, storage, and set up of the canvas for two specific frame tents: a 40 by 40 foot tent at the JPPM Pavilion and a 30 by 60 foot tent at the Willow Oak Terrace. A critical performance requirement is that canvas installation must be completed annually between March 1st and March 10th, with service reports provided for each visit. Any soil disturbance on the property requires the presence and approval of the Regional Archaeologist. The contract will be awarded based on the most favorably evaluated bid price, considering system and site knowledge and responsiveness to project requirements. Preference is given to Certified Small Business and Veteran-Owned Small Business Enterprises. Bidders must submit a complete package by 3:00 pm on November 16, 2026, including a signed Bid/Proposal Affidavit, a Conflict of Interest Disclosure, and current insurance certificates listing the Maryland Historical Trust as the holder. The agreement includes standard state clauses regarding non-discrimination, living wages, and prompt payment of subcontractors, and it is subject to termination if funds are not appropriated for succeeding fiscal periods.
