NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD - The 325th Contracting Squadron intends to solicit, evaluate, and award a firm-fixed price purchase order to Symvionics Incorporated for 1 each - IADS Software Maintenance and Techincal Support for 1 year. The intent of this procurement is to award to Symvionics on a sole source basis. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b) and FAR 6.302-1. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. The Government believes this is a sole source requirement; however, companies who feel they can provide this requirement are to contact the points of contact identified in this notice. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is a FY12 requirement to start 1 Oct 11. As such, this requirement is subject to availability of funds in accordance with FAR 52.232-18.
