Full Description

This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract for the procurement of the Improved Avionics Intermediate Shop (IAIS) Midlife Upgrade Kits, Part Number F005109, in support of the United States Air Force Air National Guard. The IAIS test station is used to perform functional checkout and fault isolation of the F-16 and A-10 Line Replaceable Units (LRU). The IAIS Midlife Upgrade Kits will upgrade FY98 era testers (NSN 4920-01-465-7013, P/N 2215000-103) to a more sustainable and usable configuration (NSN 4920-01-548-7640, P/N 2215000-203). MATERIALS: Various ITEM 0001: IAIS Midlife Upgrade Kit, Part Number F005109 QUANTITY: 8 EACH DELIVERY SCHEDULE: 720 Days ARO; Multiple shipping locations are involved. All assets shall be shipped FOB Destination. It is anticipated the RFP will be released on or around 11 Apr 2016. RFP will not be posted to FBO. However, should you desire a copy, please request from the POC listed above and one will be provided. No telephone requests will be honored and no hard copies will be mailed out. There is no technical data available. This requirement is sole source to BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integrations, Inc., 10920 Technology Place, San Diego, CA, 92127 (CAGE 12436), as they retain proprietary rights to the data for the IAIS Midlife Upgrade Kit and the Government does not possess technical data to provide offerors. This acquisition is subject to Buy American Act. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency. While all offerors are afforded an opportunity to respond to this Request for Proposal, award will not be delayed in order to qualify a previously unqualified source's product.
