St Joe Ranger District of the Idaho Panhandle NF will be soliciting for performance based Road Maintenance Brushing services that require contractor's to furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform machine roadside brushcutting and clearing with the objective of successful, quality performance resulting in a clear line of sight, clear of debris as outlined in specifications. The IPNF anticipates awarding 2 Firm Fixed price contracts. Base Item 1 is approx. 53 miles with est 37 miles Option Items and Base Item 2 is approx. 62 miles with est 53 miles Option Items. The list of roads will be published for site visits with the solicitation. The period of performance is expected to begin June 2014 and complete all by November 2015, with some roads designated to be completed in 2014. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued on or around May 21, 2014.
