The New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) Division of Juvenile Justice and Opportunities for Youth (DJJOY) is seeking qualified contractors to provide psychiatric services for juvenile delinquents and youthful offenders residing at Brentwood Residential Center and Industry Residential Center. The contract offers five positions—two at Brentwood and three at Industry—with each position having specified maximum annual hours (504 hours for Brentwood and 444 hours for Industry). Bidders can compete for psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner roles, with the expectation that services will primarily be delivered in person, though telepsychiatry may be permitted at OCFS's discretion during contract execution. The maximum hourly rate for services is capped at $400, and awards will be granted to the lowest qualified bids that meet all requirements. The contract is set for a three-year term, starting no earlier than July 1, 2024, and no later than September 1, 2024. The procurement process emphasizes cost-effectiveness, with the lowest qualifying bid being favored. The services are to be performed in Monroe and Suffolk counties, specifically at the Brentwood and Industry Residential Centers located in Dix Hills and Rush, NY. The response deadline for proposals is May 31, 2024, and interested parties are encouraged to review detailed credential and qualification requirements outlined in the IFB documentation. This opportunity does not set aside any MWBE or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business contracting goals.
