NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD IFB No. 127920 Semi-Annual Preventative Fire Suppression Inspection and Maintenance Services And "As Needed" Repair Services

The contract involves semi-annual preventative maintenance and as-needed repair services for Halon, Energen, and FM200 fire suppression systems at two Employment Development Department (EDD) facilities in Sacramento, California—800 Capitol Mall and 9815 Goethe Road. The performance period spans from August 29, 2026, through August 28, 2028, with services required during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Contractors must hold a valid C-16 Fire Protection license, complete a pre-bid site inspection, and ensure minimal disruption to building operations. All work must comply with detailed specifications outlined in Exhibit A-1, including mandatory inspection tasks such as testing control panel voltages, inspecting cylinder pressure gauges, verifying detector and nozzle cleanliness, and maintaining a site logbook with signed reports for EDD review. Repairs must be completed promptly, and a one-year warranty covers all workmanship and materials.
