The work includes, but is not limited to, multiple lock chamber cleanouts; multiple access stair case installations and removals; removal and replacement of the embedded quoin; removal and replacement of the top anchorage; remove and replacement of the pintle and embedded frame; modification of the existing gate sill; removal and replacement of the gate control stands; and electrical work at the upper and lower miter gate locations at Starved Rock Lock and the upper miter gate location at Marseilles Lock. The locks will be dewatered to facilitate construction.
