Image Generator - 12U and 5-ch OTW MANTIS Upgrade

THIS IS A NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION (NOCA); THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOCA OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS NOCA IS TO NOTIFY INDUSTRY OF THE USAF'S INTENT OF CONTRACT ACTION AND POSSIBLY GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF OTHER POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.) PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. The 412 Test Wing, 411th FLTS, Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price Contract to Quantum3D, 5400 Hellyer Ave, San Jose, CA 95138. This acquisition falls under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 "Commercial Service". The contract will consist of the purchase of an IDX7000 image generator, Xeon 5650, Xeon 5680 and senior engineer labor to install and test all products. Any qualified and interested companies responding to this announcement must be able to support all areas. NO partial support responses from industry will be accepted. The Government is seeking only, qualified, experienced sources interested in performing the services. Briefly, the contract will consist of the following: IDX7000 hardware supporting the F-22 simulation project located at Edwards AFB (EAFB), CA. Hardware and installation shall be in accordance with computer storage hardware guidelines. The Government is requesting that interested concerns feeling they can fully support this requirement, furnish the following information: (1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number and e-mail address. (2) Type of business, i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, HubZone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc. under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811213 which contains Small Business size standard of $10M. (3) Under which NAICS does your company usually perform all the services identified in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Please include the rational for your answer. (4) Provide no more than three (3) references for no more than three (3) of the most recent and relevant contracts directly relating the attached PWS, performed within the last three (3) years. Include name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address of references. Also, provide a brief description of the work performed, contract number, total contract value, and period of performance. Any interested parties believing they can meet all the requirements listed above, may submit a response. All information furnished shall be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow the government technical representative to evaluate and determine if it can meet the requirement.
