Full Description
AMENDMENT
This presolicitation is being amended to update the set-aside requirement from a Total Small Business Set-Aside to Full and Open Competition. The closing date is extended to October 6, 2026. All other information remains unchanged.
This solicitation will contain one NSN for a Impeller Assembly [WSDC: 06F] End Item: Aircraft, Hercules C-130. The NSN and quantity are as follows: NSN 6620-004637489 with a quantity of 70 SO. The requirement will contain a Government First Article Test (FAT) of -01 unit at 180 Days ARO. The total production delivery schedule is 418 days ARO, FOB: Origin; Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Clause 52.246-11, Higher-level contract quality requirement applies. The solicitation issue date is on or about March 11, 2026, in accordance with 19.502-2 -- Total Small Business Set-Asides.
The offeror must furnish drawings and other data covering the design, materials, etc., of the exact product cited in the AID, IAW 252.236-7001 Contract Drawings and Specifications.

Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
