The Naval Medical Logistics Command intends to modify five existing Northeast Dental Multiple Award Task Order contracts to increase maximum hours by 20 percent and provide additional funding. This action is necessary because unanticipated requirements have depleted available service capacities ahead of the original February 28, 2011, expiration date. These modifications serve as a bridge to ensure continued dental services while the government prepares a new solicitation. The affected contractors include DPS Inc., RLM Services, Inc., The Arora Group, Saratoga Medical, and The OMO Group. These entities provide essential dental services across various Naval Health Clinics and branch clinics in the Northeastern United States, including locations in Maryland, Virginia, Illinois, and New England. This is a restricted, sole-source acquisition designated as a total small business set-aside.

NO SOLICITATION TO BE POSTED, ONLY SYNOPSIS. The government intends to modify the Northeast Dental Multiple Award Task Order (MATO) contracts to add hours and funding to extend existing services to the 5 contractors who were initially awarded MATO contracts in fiscal year 2006. The original period of performance for these MATO contracts is 01 March 2006 through 28 February 2011. Due to numerous unanticipated requirements impacting usage of available quantities, the capacity of services is expected to run out well in advance of the expected period of performance. This modification will be issued in anticipation of an award resulting from a new solicitation for these services. These MATO contractors provide dental services for National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD, Naval Health Clinic Quantico, VA, Naval Health Clinic Annapolis, MD, Naval Health Clinic Patuxent River, MD, Naval Health Clinic Great Lakes, IL, Naval Health Care New England branch clinics, and all surrounding branch clinics in the Northeastern Unites States. The current MATO contracts that require additional quantities are as follows: N62645-06-D-0003 (DPS Inc.), N62645-06-D-0004 (RLM Services, Inc.), N62645-06-D-0005 (The Arora Group), N62645-06-D-0006 (Saratoga Medical) and N62645-06-D-0007 (The OMO Group). This acquisition is Restricted. Sole Source: In accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) Only One Responsible Source for each contract.
