The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) seeks to increase equitable access to COVID-19 testing through partnerships with private sector partners (e.g., retailers, pharmacies, clinics). The CDC intends to release a solicitation for support services to maintain the national, no-cost pharmacy testing system to continue to provide community and surge testing services to vulnerable and at-risk communities in locations nation-wide. Acquisition Title: Increasing Community Access to Testing (ICATT) Acquisition History: Previous versions of this contract requirement were solicited and awarded by the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR). A Request for Proposal (RFP), 75D301-22-R-72098, will be posted on www.sam.gov. We plan to post the RFP the last week January or first week of February, with a contract award date between May - June, 2022. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will also be made at the same website. CDC expects to issue multiple awards as a result of solicitation 75D301-22-R-72098. It is anticipated that the resulting contracts will be Firm Fixed Price with a period of performance of a six (6) month base and five (5) 6-month options. This is not a set-aside requirement. The NAICS Code for this proposed procurement is 621511 (Medical Laboratories). All responsible offerors may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The scheduled solicitation due date will be approximately thirty-five (35) days after the posting of the solicitation.
