The contract is for the procurement of 12 boxes of carbon monoxide gas detector indicator tubes, each box containing 10 tubes with a detection range of 2 to 300 ppm, identified by NSN 6665-01-645-8677. Delivery is required within 20 days after award to a fleet post office address for USS COLUMBIA SSN 771, FPO AP 96662, with FOB destination terms placing transportation responsibility and risk on the contractor until arrival. Packaging must adhere to commercial standards, with each unit sealed in a protective container and shipped in suitable exterior containers to ensure safe delivery at the lowest carrier rate; for medical acquisitions, marking must comply with Medical Marking Standard No. 1 (MMS NO. 1), superseding MIL-STD-129. Each package must include the NSN, manufacturer name, CAGE code, date of manufacture, expiration or retest date, and contract or lot number, and shelf life for Type I items must be 24 months with no more than three months elapsing between manufacture and government delivery. The solicitation, issued under SPE2DS-26-T-062X, closes on May 18, 2026, with responses submitted electronically through DIBBS. Technical and quality requirements referenced in the DLA Master List take precedence over general standards, and hazardous material handling must follow FED-STD-313 and TQ requirement IP025, with additional compliance for radioactive materials requiring advance notice and labeling per MIL-STD-129 criteria. The contractor must comply with cybersecurity safeguards under 252.204-7012, trafficking in persons prevention, equal opportunity, employment eligibility verification, and sustainable procurement policies. Ocean shipping requires U.S.-flag vessels unless a waiver is granted, and all invoicing must use Wide Area WorkFlow. Contract type remains unspecified and will be finalized by the Contracting Officer. All representations and certifications must be accurate at time of offer and maintained through completion, including UEI and CAGE code disclosures, socioeconomic status, and compliance with defense telecommunications equipment prohibitions.
