The 316th Contracting Squadron is seeking a contractor to provide annual preventative maintenance and inspection services for approximately 24 Big Ass Fans industrial ceiling fans located in Hangars 3, 4, 6, and 7 at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. This requirement supports the 89th Maintenance Group and involves comprehensive tasks such as cleaning airfoils, inspecting hubs for damage, verifying mounting hardware tightness with torque wrenches, and checking electrical connections and variable frequency drive settings. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, supervision, tools, and rigging equipment. A critical technical requirement is that all performing technicians must hold current, active Factory-Certified or Factory-Trained credentials directly from Big Ass Fans or an authorized partner. This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 811310, with a size standard of 12.5 million dollars. The government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract consisting of one 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods, with a potential six-month extension. Award will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) criteria, where technical capability is evaluated on a pass/fail basis based on the required manufacturer certifications.
